The term Rajasthani Muslims is usually used to signify Muslims from the state of Rajasthan in the north-western part of India, speaking hindi and urdu combined.Indian Muslims like all other Muslims across the globe offer namaaz five times a day (i.e., Fazr, Johar, Asr, Magribh, Isha) facing towards KIBLA/KAABA (masjid al haram) which is in west direction from rajasthan.
Rajasthani muslims are also punctual of holy month Ramadan, Zakaat (charity given by well established muslims to poors which is a basic concept of islam) and hajj.
SPREAD OF ISLAM IN RAJASTHAN:
Rajasthan came into influence of ''islam'' by the social work of HAZRAT KHAWAJA MOINUDDIN CHISTI
also widely known as GAREEB NAWAAZ (i,e, ''BENEFACTOR OF THE POOR'') ''who was guided by PROPHET MOHAMMAD (Peace Be Upon him) through a'' bisharat or spiritual dream and PROPHET MOHAMMAD (P.B.U.H) told gareeb nawaz ''to leave for spreading of deen (islam) in Hind(present day India, Pakistan, Bangladesh) by settling in ajmer, a city in rajasthan.''
As soon as GAREEB NAWAAZ reached India, they found the society to be poisoned from untouchability. So he decided to organize a LANGAR (public eating food together irrespective of status, sex, religion and caste). This langar brought people into influence of Islam and its strict stand against UNTOCHABILITY.
More humanitarian efforts of Hazrat Moinuddin Chisti or Gareeb Nawaaz and other walis and peer from time to time had strengthen Islam not only in rajasthan but also in whole India.
Hazrat Moinuddin chisti is burried in his resting place at KHAWAAZA MOIUNDDIN CHISTI DARGAH / ROZA SHAREEF in rajasthani city of ajmer. The city where he preached islam for his whole life.
ROLE OF MUSLIMS IN SOCIETY :
Rajasthani Muslims are very prominent in industry and medium-sized businesses. Many members of this community migrated to Pakistan in 1947 and have settled in Karachi and Sindh, contributing greatly to the general welfare and economy of Pakistan
DEMOGRAPHY OF MUSLIMS :
According to the Indian census of 2011,〔(Indian Census 2011: Socio-cultural aspects: Religious compositions )〕 there were 4,788,227 Muslims in Rajasthan, constituting 8.5% of the state's population.
INTER FAITH RELATIONS :
Muslims together with hindus, christians, jains, sikhs believes in peace and harmony which have been taught to them in Quran shareef. Generally there is no religious tension between people from different religions In Rajasthan paving way for UNITY IN INDIA.
People from all religions help in maintaining peace and harmony which makes rajasthan one of the safest place in India having less misunderstanding between people from different religious affiliations. Thus enhancing development of society.

Rajasthan have been blessed with teaching of numerous ''WALIS / SUFI SAINTS'' who harvested peace, harmony and humanity in local culture through ''ISLAMIC TEACHINGS.''
The burial place of these saints are known as ''DARGAH or ROZA'' where muslim masses pay visit and perform ''ZIYARAT'' by offering namaaz, reciting and reading Quran Shareef and offering ''FATIHA''.
